SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS
Spiral metal joints consist of a metal strip with a “V” profile wound in a spiral and filled with soft material.
The soft material provides the spiral metal joint with sealing properties and the metal strip provides the rigidity properties.
The combination of these two types of materials makes spiral wound gaskets an ideal product for sealing fluids at high temperatures (up to 1000ºC) and under high pressure conditions (up to 250ºC).

DOUBLE JACKETED GASKETS
Metal-plastic gaskets, also called double-jacket gaskets, consist of a metal cover and a soft material filler.
The sealing filler provides unbeatable recovery capacity, while the metal coating (or jacket) protects against pressure, temperature fluctuations and corrosion.
They are very useful in various applications, especially in heat exchanger equipment.

KAMMPROFILE GASKETS
Kammprofile gaskets are used in highly demanding environments, such as refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, nuclear power plants, etc. The load stability of Kamprofile or Camprofile gaskets is significantly higher than that of flat gaskets, and they ensure sealing under high temperatures, pressure, and situations requiring high screwing forces.
At Comdiflex, we can manufacture toothed joints from DN 10 to a diameter of 3600 mm. For specific cases, larger measurements or special manufacturing according to drawing, such as oval joints or other geometric shapes.

WELDING JOINTS
Welding-ring or membrane joints are solid, completely solid joints made up of sets or halves designed for critical applications.

They are very special joints, in which the tightness is not achieved by the classic operation of tightening the joint against the surface of the flanges but basically by welding.

LENTICULAR JOINTS
High integrity joints for critical applications with high temperature and pressure.
Profiles and characteristics
They have proven their reliability as sealing elements for high pressures.
They are characterized by their special contact surface geometry, which is designed and manufactured in a concave shape.
Due to this geometric property of lenticular gaskets, the tightening starts in a small area of the gasket, which expands elastically as the surface tightening force increases.
The configuration of the pocket facilitates the self-sealing operating principle.
