KEMMICA ®
COMPOSITION
KEMMICA® is Kempchen-Comdiflex’s own brand of phlogopite mica. It is a gasket material that replaces ceramic fibre, which is carcinogenic due to its silicon dioxide content, among other components.
Mica is a mineral that allows a working temperature of 1,000ºC and peaks of 1,100º.
Kempchen-Comdiflex mainly uses it to fill metal-plastic or double-jacketed gaskets. However, the sheet format allows it to be used as a refractory material.
FORMAT
The sheets are available in different formats:
Thickness range: 0.10 – 2 mm
Standard dimensions: 1200 x 1000 – 2000 x 1000 – 2400 x 1000 mm
